The Shia Asna  Ashri Jamaat Nairobi was  established in 1934 with

Marhum Haji Rajabali Datoo at the helm.Our main objective ever

Since has been to link individual Shia Asna Ashris into one close knit

bond.The Nairobi Jamaat follows the democratic system whereby

the members elect a chairperson who in turn appoints the managing

 committee complimented by an efficient team of volunteers.

These office bearers run the institution tirelessly, serving the

community to its satisfaction.Our biggest achievement has been the construction of a huge ultra modern complex at the high end sub-urbs of Nairobi-Lavington.This complex comprise of a sports club, a well equipped gym, a kiddies corner referred to by the children as fun city. The other side of the complex  consists of a 10 acre plot which situates our mosque, Imambarah and the Nairobi Jaffery Academy. On the far end of this side lies our kindergarten and the proposed site of the swimming pool. This is not the end of our ambitious projects, as we are in the process of  constructing a huge fully equipped library and Musafirkhana.
